Reporting to the Manager Surgical Services, the responsibility of the registered nurse is the promotion of health and the assessment, provision of care, and treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic measures to adults and children during phase I and II recovery within the perianesthesia setting in Day Surgery and PACU.
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
- Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
- Minimum 2 years PACU and acute care nursing experience within the past 5 years
- Broad surgical experience required in all subspecialties
