Job Overview
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and collaborates with other members of the health‑care team to achieve desired results.
Training & Education
Minimum: Associate degree in nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
Licensure, Certifications & Registrations
- Registered Nurse license by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
