Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the Clinical Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.
The successful applicant will support Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and will receive a three (3) week orientation to the PD unit.
Experience
- Recent dialysis experience required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Successful completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course required.
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- CRNM registration/eligibility for registration required.
