Support adolescent health as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Eating Disorders Unit. This role requires strong communication skills and an understanding of psychiatric interventions.
This position is for one existing vacancy. You must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support and CPR-HCP certifications. Key skills include knowledge of psychiatric disorders in adolescents and experience with assessments and treatment modalities related to eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct adolescent assessments and implement treatment plans
• Facilitate crisis and suicide interventions effectively
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
• Collaborate within an inter-professional team
• Provide health teaching to families
