Job Description
Baycrest is seeking an On-Call Registered Practical Nurse at Terraces Assisted Living. Provide critical nursing care to enhance the lives of seniors while enjoying flexible schedule. As an RPN, you will play a fundamental role in the well-being of approximately 200 seniors, contributing to their care plans and health monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community education and individualized counseling
- Respond effectively to emergency and urgent care situations
- Manage care for clients facing minor episodic illness
- Educate and monitor clients with stabilized chronic illnesses
Requirements
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS Level C-AED certification
- Two years’ experience specifically in gerontological nursing
- Five years’ experience in primary and acute care settings
- Strong communication and client service abilities
