Position Overview
This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely, ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs, counseling patients with appropriate documentation, providing friendly and proactive interaction with customers, and creating awareness and education through public relations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, dispense, and control medication accurately and timely.
- Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding new and additional medications with a friendly, positive, proactive interaction.
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
