Job Description

Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 536266) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in science, biology, medical science or related disciplines, with laboratory experience in cell culture, virology, and/or immunology. They must have a good command of written and spoken English. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player. Experience in influenza virology is desired but not essential.


The appointees will work in the laboratory under the supervision of Professor Mark Zanin to contribute to studies of influenza virus pathogenesis, transmission and vaccination.
