Research Director, Software Channels - IDG (International Data Group) (Abitibi-Témiscamingue)

About the Role & Team

The Research Director for Software Channels & Ecosystems is a senior role focused on software‑centric channels and ecosystems, and on external factors that impact software and services opportunities for technology vendors and their partner ecosystems. This role sits within the IDC Worldwide Channels & Ecosystems team and contributes to research agenda, custom research engagements, client engagement, program growth, and strategy alignment with IDC goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Software Channels Research program, delivering a forward‑looking research agenda.
• Maintain program health, client engagement, inquiries, client renewals, and prospecting.
• Deliver two Leadership Councils per year, presenting latest research and trends.
• Develop and deliver custom research for clients and support wider IDC initiatives.
• Participate in and support wider IDC leadership initiatives.
