Job Description
**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
As Sales Manager you’ll be creating memorable memories to our guests. Serving InterContinental brand is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager is responsible for actively prospecting and qualifying new business. They will also produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements. In addition, they will act in support of the Director of Sales & Marketing on a daily basis and in their absence.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Maintain client files and update information daily in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility
+ Follow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings
+ Interact with outside contacts
