Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the entire process from start to finish. Your key tasks include:
- Maintaining customer contact and negotiating transport rates
- Coordinating and documenting freight and transport costs
- Booking, planning, and managing shipments
- Managing bookings with subcontractors according to customer agreements
- Tracking shipments and providing track & trace updates
- Resolving logistical issues related to shipments
- Managing and maintaining required transport documentation
- Maximizing profit by optimizing loading processes and aligning with carriers
- Invoicing
- MBO/HBO level of education or equivalent experience
- Experience in logistics and transportation is a plus
- Resilient under pressure and solution-oriented
