Job Description
A well-established FMCG group based in Hawthorn is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 12-month contract.
This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role with end-to-end ownership of month-end, combined with exposure to reporting, compliance, budgeting, business partnering, and analytical work. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the business in a fast-paced FMCG environment while contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management reports with commentary and variance analysis
- Maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations and integrity
- Supporting statutory compliance requirements, including BAS and other regulatory obligations
