A local success story Environmental Company is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their tight knit accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Support the full-cycle accounting function in a multi-entity environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with ASPE, including consolidations and intercompany/flow-through reconciliations.
- Strengthen the month-end close process by driving accountability, improving close timelines, and ensuring the timely, accurate completion of reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deliverables.
- Provide hands-on technical accounting support to the team, serving as a resource for complex, unusual, or non-routine transactions and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and documentation.
