Overview
The Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) team within the AI and Data Office is responsible for developing Mastercard’s data quality programme and driving data quality improvements. We ensure data is of the highest quality and is fit‑for‑purpose to support business and analytic uses. The team designs controls and solutions that help protect the integrity of the network. We collaborate with regional and global product teams, as well as Services Technology, to identify and prioritise data quality investments throughout the lifecycle of our business, including working with standards governing bodies such as ISO to plan implementation and adoption of data formats and other standards. The team also manages key data assets and capabilities supporting data quality, such as merchant location and company master data, and the Enterprise Data Quality tooling used to profile and monitor data.
