Overview
City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Department is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, construction, and maintenance of storm, water, and sewer systems and projects. The role will supervise engineering staff and consultants, ensuring projects meet technical and regulatory standards while improving community infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct professional engineering activities for traffic and capital improvement projects.
- Review and approve plans, specifications, designs, estimates, schedules, inspections, and project management activities for construction and maintenance programs.
- Supervise and mentor engineering personnel and external consultants.
- Collaborate with city departments, public agencies, and the public to ensure timely project delivery.
