Responsibilities
- Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure.
- Be responsible for accurate, timely and well‑organized pre‑construction estimate preparation for budget and guaranteed maximum price submissions as well as design build and stipulated price estimate submissions for major projects.
- Develop scopes of work for subcontractors to provide budgeting assistance.
- Analyze sub‑contractor bids for irregularities and ensure the full scope of work is included.
- Organize sub‑contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re‑writing binders and assisting the buy‑out process.
- Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub‑trades for future opportunities.
