Job Description
Drive advancements in quantum technology as a Senior Experimental Physicist at D-Wave Systems. Focus on superconducting gate-model processors and fluxonium qubits in a collaborative team environment.
As part of the Processor Development (PD) team, you'll lead experimental characterization and address noise mechanisms in superconducting devices. This role requires strong expertise in quantum technology development and a Ph.D. in a related field, along with a passion for mentoring and documentation. You'll play a vital role in developing, calibrating, and validating qubit gates and strategies for error mitigation.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead characterization of fluxonium qubits and quantum processors • Investigate and propose solutions for decoherence and noise • Develop and validate high-fidelity qubits and gates • Collaborate on simulations and parameter studies • Document results and share insights with the PD team
Requirements: • Ph.D. in quantum computing...
