What You Will Do
- Support the Group Underwriting leadership team by aligning processes and tools, including (but not limited to): Online GUM, Access, Renewal Template Quote Template, Manual Rates Calculator, Case Initiative Identifier, Execution of the Group Underwriting Best Practice roadmap.
- Lead and implement best practice initiatives within the Underwriting team.
- Design and facilitate a training curriculum to support underwriters from entry level to experienced roles.
- Conduct quality reviews of complex underwriting cases and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Release the monthly Underwriting Bulletin when the Best Practice Analyst is unavailable.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for underwriting tools.
- Act as a liaison with internal partners (e.g., EIS, Finance, IT) and lead or contribute to mini projects as required.
