Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in industrial control panel design, building automation systems, and HVAC unit controls. This role offers the potential to progress into a Team Lead position, overseeing multiple employees and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and update electrical wiring diagrams to achieve project-specific HVAC sequences of operation.
Develop and manage bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure accuracy in designs.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to integrate system designs.
Lead process improvements between shop workers and designers to optimize efficiency.
Apply knowledge of HVAC air handlers, direct/indirect fired units, air conditioning systems (DX, chillers, evaporative), and make‑up air units.
Write sequences of operation for HVAC units.
