BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returns
- Review Canadian and US individual income tax returns
- Day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting
- Research income‑tax issues and review memoranda or client letters in the area of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate‑tax matters
- Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team
- Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada concerning their clients
- Engage in business‑development initiatives to further grow the practice
