Your Scope:
- Work closely with a Partner as a senior team member, identifying tax issues and planning opportunities for owner-managed agricultural businesses.
- Prepare and review federal and provincial income taxes for individuals, corporations, and exempt organizations within the agriculture sector, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation, including specialized agricultural tax programs.
- Manage clients' high-level personal and corporate tax and GST/HST matters, with an understanding of how these apply to the unique challenges of agricultural operations, such as the treatment of farm losses, succession planning, and the sale of farmland.
