Job Description
Lead pharmacy innovation as the Senior Pharmacy Director for the Government of Nunavut in Iqaluit. Oversee pharmacy services across 25 communities and drive medication safety initiatives.
In this influential role, you will be responsible for the clinical and operational leadership of pharmacy services throughout Nunavut. With a team of nine professionals and a $5.1 million budget, you will enhance medication management quality and ensure accreditation readiness for 2028. Your leadership will also address important initiatives like the new Pharmacy Professions Act and the Closed Loop Medication System.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for all GN pharmacy staff
• Manage HR functions, including recruitment and mentorship
• Chair the P&T, Safe Medication Practices, and Antimicrobial Committees
• Oversee and enforce the GN drug formulary
