Senior Probabilistic Safety Assessment Analyst (PSA) / Analista Sénior de Evaluación Probabilística de Seguridad (PSA)
Location – Buenos Aires, Argentina
Role Overview
The senior PSA analyst will work with other junior and senior staff to develop and apply advanced analysis methodologies to perform PSAs and other PSA‑related safety analyses for existing, refurbishment and new‑build plants.
Responsibilities
- Conduct probabilistic safety assessments of plant systems, focusing on internal events (shutdown, internal fire, internal flood) and seismic events as well as other external hazards.
- Perform reliability systems assessments of process and safety systems, e.g., emergency core cooling, containment, balance of plant (BOP) and plant operation and safety‑related systems.
- Interface with clients/projects to assess operational and safety issues and advise on potential solutions.
