Senior Protection & Control, Lead Engineer
Location: Burnaby, BC.
Your role within the team
- Prepare Protection & Control designs from conceptual to implementation stage for Transmission, Distribution and Generating stations.
- Perform design work in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Prepare single line diagrams, DC/AC control schematics.
- Design and develop panel layouts and bill of materials and detailed wiring diagrams.
- Develop cable block diagrams and cable and conduit schedules.
- Program Protection & Control devices.
- Work on reports and calculations and perform site visits.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver projects.
- Mentor, coach, and supervise a team of junior engineers.
- Assist in development of technical processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Assist in preparation of proposals.
