About the Role
Are you our new Senior Roading Engineer? With its diverse roading network extending from Taranaki Maunga, through the urban area and out to the Eastern Hill Country, no two days will be the same! And throughout the entire network the views make it worth the drive! Stratford District Council is recruiting for a Senior Roading Engineer to assist in the management of the roading infrastructure to provide a safe and efficient transport network in the Stratford District.
You will be responsible for the collection, storage, analysis, maintenance and management of the data to ensure robust decision making. You will undertake roading project inspections, assessments and reviews of contractor programmes, reports and claims as well as continual audits on programmed work. This role will also see you undertaking general contract procurement and team management.
