Job Description
- Prepare calculations and supporting documentation for journals, accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments.
- Analyse financial and business data to determine the correct accounting treatment, not only the system/process flow.
- Support accrual processes related to GR/IR, fixed assets, employee-related costs, intercompany, and other operating expenses.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts, including AR, AP, GR/IR, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, and provisions.
- Analyse balances, variances, and account movements, explaining key drivers and required adjustments from an accounting perspective.
- Support month-end close activities by ensuring completeness, accuracy, and quality of RTR deliverables.
- Prepare and review supporting documentation for reconciliations, including invoices, PO/GR data, subledger reports, schedules, ageing reports, and other relevant evidence.
