Position Overview
Global Quality Assurance (GQA) promotes a shift‑left approach and provides standardized processes and tools to enhance the quality of applications for Warner Bros. Discovery brands in News, Sports and Entertainment. As a Senior Software Developer in Test within GQA, you will be the frontline owner of quality processes, including development, testing and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases for complex feature enhancements to validate user stories with or without collaboration with other engineers.
- Build automated tests by contributing new code that extends existing test frameworks.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for increased automated coverage and participate in the continuous improvement of automated testing systems.
- Make decisions about test coverage for new features and determine sign‑off based on best‑practice guidelines.
