Summary
Ryder is seeking a motivated individual to join the maintenance team as a Service Employee I. The position works to prepare vehicles, transport them to the proper location within the facility, and keep the shop organized and ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Fuel vehicles.
- Wash and detail vehicles; move heavy‑duty vehicles.
- Perform multi‑point inspection on inbound units according to company policies. Check tire pressure and report service issues to shop.
- Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel/DEF inventories and reconciliation.
- Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and policies.
- Perform facility and minor maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Change tires.
- Inspect refrigeration units on trucks.
- Empty trash.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
