Position Summary

The Hill Levene School of Business at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach BUS 285 – Introduction to Financial Accounting in person during the Fall 2026 semester.

Class dates: September 1, 2026 – December 7, 2026. Final exam period: December 9 – 22, 2026. Maximum enrolment: 68. A teaching assistant may be provided if requested.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the course outline, design relevant assignments, evaluate and grade student work, and submit grades on time.
• Prepare content for the accounting lab (BUS 285 103 Fridays 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.).
• Teach course content that follows the course description, established learning objectives, and university academic guidelines.
• Deliver 26 75‑minute lectures throughout the semester (unless otherwise discussed with the Associate Dean).
