Job Description
Responsibilities:
Enforce safety policies related to warehouse operations, including forklift operation, racking systems, and material handling.
Conduct daily/weekly floor audits, safety inspections, and behavioral observations.
Lead incident investigations (injuries, near misses, equipment damage) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with supervisors to ensure compliance with LOTO, PPE, and equipment safety requirements.
Monitor contractor and visitor safety compliance within the facility.
Track and report safety KPIs (TRIR, near misses, corrective actions).
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of oils, batteries, and hazardous materials common in heavy equipment parts distribution.
Monitor waste management programs (scrap metal, packaging materials, recycling initiatives).
Maintain environmental compliance documentation and support inspections.
