This position is responsible for safe operation with a forklift as well as other labour duties. Work is conducted in a normal production environment with exposure to temperature changes and safety hazards associated with general labour.
Responsibilities
- Material handling of customer orders
- Safely operate a clamp/forklift inside plant and in trailers
- Operate and unload squeeze trailers
- Material handling of foam blocks and other material to/from plant areas, trailers and production lines
- Moving rolls to/from shipping dock and loading/unloading trailers
- Use RF Scanner to accurately scan labels for processing loads
- Maintain shipping and manifest forms
- Ensure daily equipment inspections are performed
- Remove porta-racks from production to storage
