Shipping Supervisor

Johnson Controls is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to manage the day‑to‑day operations of our shipping department, ensuring timely and efficient processing and shipping of all orders.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the shipping department.
• Supervise logistics planners and ensure all orders are processed and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate directly with OTM planners to ensure correct carrier assignments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping area in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Verify orders are complete and meet customer specifications before release.
• Schedule and assign employees to specific tasks.
• Train new employees on company policies and procedures.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to management as necessary.
