Job Title: Social Worker – Child Protection

Salford Council are looking for a social worker for their safeguarding and support service.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will respond to referrals from MASH and complete assessments within 45 days. You will identify needs and work with children and families to provide support and implement plans. Handling section 47 enquiries, CIN, assessments, and planning will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families. Additionally, you will manage cases involving children on child in need plans for short-term periods until they either step down or step up to ICPC, at which point cases will transfer to the longer-term assessment service.
