Job Description
Under the direction of the Station Manager, the Supervisor 1 assists in managing the day‑to‑day field primary and remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop. This position is considered to be a safety‑sensitive position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor personnel, equipment and materials to ensure they arrive at location on time.
- Execute successful cementing jobs according to design/client specification; understand rigging in/out procedures.
- Execute cement jobs in accordance with the cementing operations process flow.
- Ensure efficient handling of day‑to‑day operations.
- Ensure critical tasks are completed on every cementing job, including measuring the density of cement using a pressurized scale, collecting samples, utilizing radios on location, blowing down all units and P‑tanks after every job.
