Job Summary and Responsibilities
Supervises medical lab personnel at St. Joseph’s Medical Center Clinical Laboratory. Plans, organizes, and delineates duties and responsibilities of personnel under his/her supervision. Assumes responsibility for instituting recent procedures, establishing and maintaining the quality control program, directing training of new personnel, maintaining supplies, staying current with current technical and theoretical procedures, disseminating departmental information, and ensuring the reliability of all test results issued from the sections or laboratory under his/her supervision. Also performs the duties of a clinical laboratory technologist.
