Position Summary/Description:
The Supervisor of Undergraduate Teaching Labs position provides leadership and direction in the management of the Biology Department’s undergraduate laboratories. The department seeks a creative problem solver who will be responsible for the growing/changing undergraduate laboratory program on a day-to-day and semester-to-semester basis. The Supervisor of Undergraduate Teaching Labs should have experience working with and mentoring people from diverse backgrounds with different learning styles.
The Supervisor of Undergraduate Teaching Labs ensures comprehensive preparation for successful laboratory curriculum and classes such as preparing reagents and labs for experiments; implementing strategies for maintaining excellent safety standards, and assuring proper building services.
