Position Summary
The Consultant is responsible for assisting families to meet the childcare and individual support needs of children and youth who require additional support and utilize in‑own home and/or licensed childcare. In collaboration with the family, their childcare program and other team members, you will develop an Individualized Service Plan that will encourage the child’s development and inclusion within the context of their daily routines and resources. This role requires a strong commitment to family‑centred practice, active listening, and collaboration with caregivers, colleagues, and community partners.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 4 year degree from a University or College of recognized standing in a field related to the position (e.g. Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology)
- Maintain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check Clearance throughout employment
- A valid BC Class 5 driver...
