About the Role
This Co‑op Tax Analyst position at Johnson & Johnson’s Canadian Country Tax Centre provides hands‑on experience in corporate income tax, sales tax and withholding tax matters for Canadian operating companies. The term runs from August2026 to April2027 and is a full‑time 37.5‑hour week.
Major Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual T2 corporate income tax return, T106 information returns and non‑resident withholding tax returns.
- Prepare monthly sales tax returns for GST/HST, QST and PST.
- Maintain non‑resident payments subject to withholding tax and manage required remittances.
- Analyze tax balance sheet accounts and prepare quarterly reconciliations.
- Implement system changes for sales tax initiatives such as tax code changes and new product introductions.
- Document and maintain quarter‑end and month‑end close activities, including monthly clearing journal entries.
