Teacher Consultant - Provincial Outreach Prgm (Deafblind)

A Teacher Consultant will be required as a member of the BC Provincial Outreach Program for Students with Deafblindness (POPDB). The Teacher Consultant will work as a member of the provincial outreach team in providing support to school districts, independent schools, and online schools who enroll students who are deafblind throughout British Columbia. The foundation of our program is supporting deafblind intervention through building capacity, trusting relationships, and student-centred programming, with the goal of meaningful inclusion, access, and participation for students with deafblindness in British Columbia.Travel throughout the province will be required as consultative services are provided in students' school district or independent school. This position also requires the ability, at times, to have flexible working hours to accommodate travel and additional meeting responsibilities.
