The Technical Advisor will be hired by Vital Strategies and seconded to the CDC Foundation, supporting lead poisoning prevention by strengthening laboratory capacity in Brazil.
Job Purpose
The Technical Advisor, Lead Laboratory Capacity Building in Brazil provides technical support and ensures in-country coordination for a global initiative aimed at strengthening laboratory capacity for blood lead level testing. The initiative supports improvements in systems, standards, and practices for blood lead level testing to enable early detection and monitoring of lead exposure, particularly in countries with a high burden of lead poisoning.
