SUMMARY – Technical Field Advisor/Engineer
The Technical Field Advisor/Engineer (TFA) is responsible for performing and supporting field service engineering activities in the installation, modification, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of steam and gas turbines, valves, and auxiliary systems. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to safety and quality. The position involves frequent travel and extended work hours during outage maintenance periods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform standard field engineering tasks using established methods, principles, and procedures related to turbine outage maintenance.
- Direct and assist in the installation, repair, analysis, and operation of customer equipment, including steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, exciters, heat transfer systems, and auxiliaries.
