Technical Specialist, Application Development Duties and Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes needs from internal and external business partners (including suppliers and OEM customers) and selects appropriate software solutions and technology to meet business requirements and IT strategies
- Creates specification, diagrams and models to guide custom software development
- Collaborates with system architects, developers, and software vendors to design and develop processes, integrations and technology solutions
- Develops OEM and Supplier mappings in the Seeburger tool to facilitate customer/supplier communications
- Serves as focal point for logging software related issues and registering problems or enhancements
- Manages releases for future upgrades and maintenance and ensures software works properly afterwards
