Job Description

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-track Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor (several posts) in the Division of Behavioural Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 536297), to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal, and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract, subject to satisfactory performance. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for appointment on tenure terms.


Applicants should possess (i) a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in health or clinical psychology, or a related discipline, with particular relevance to health risk perception, cognition, and health-related behaviour change; (ii) prior research experience in addressing the psychological, social, and contextual challenges that hinder the adoption and maintenance of healthier lifestyles, such as risk misperception, motivational barriers, inequities, and resist...
