Job Description
Working along with a public sector organisation to collect and process retired ESB Poles across the Island of Ireland. Trips could include staying out overnight in the truck for routes exceeding 250 km. Using a grapple saw to cut the poles to length and load them onto the truck and transport them back to the waste facility. Ideal for an independent worker who enjoys a change of scenery every day and likes the open road. Previous crane / timber truck experience would be preferred but not essential. Based out of Kill, Co. Kildare or Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
Responsibilities
• Ensure load is properly secured
• Maintain log books
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of equipment and accessories
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
