Job Description
Become part of Vancouver Coastal Health's Eating Disorders Program as a part-time psychiatrist. Focus on evaluating and treating adults suffering from eating disorders in an outpatient setting.
You will work within an interdisciplinary team at the Joseph & Rosalie Segal Family Health Centre, ensuring comprehensive psychiatric care tailored to individual patient needs. Engagement in training, educational activities, and improvement initiatives is paramount to the role's impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients aged 18 and older for psychiatric conditions
• Collaborate on treatment plans with health care professionals
• Conduct medication reviews and facilitate group psychotherapy
• Provide individual psychotherapy as needed
• Take part in education and training of allied health staff
Requirements:
• Must hold FRCPC and CMPA certification
• Medical degree with licensure eligibility in BC
