Food Train is a local charity supporting older people who struggle to manage their own shopping due to age, illness, or disability. Our volunteers work together in local supermarkets to ensure members receive exactly what they need.
Responsibilities
- Choose the best quality items and check use-by dates
- Work as part of a team to make sure every order is correct
- Pack shopping safely and evenly for delivery
- Use self‑scan checkouts to put orders through
- Represent Food Train with a smile and a caring attitude
