Job Description
We are currently looking for an AM Lead Hand for our Cambridge terminal.
Position Type: Permanent, Full Time. Salary: Up to $52,000, based on experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 4:00am to 12:30pm. Location: 119 Earl Thompson Rd. Cambridge, ON N0B 1E0.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and train personnel
- Daily AM Dock performance, monitoring and adjustments
- Routing freight, appointment booking and Dispatching
- Operating a Forklift, load/unload trailers and staging freight
- Reduce miss-directs and damages on customer shipments
- Customer shipment audits when required
- Ensure employees follow health & safety guidelines
- Cross train staff to ensure adequate dock coverage daily
- Action on all last‑minute shipment requests
- Various other duties, as required
